During development of Amy and later Denise a lot of design experiments was done. Most of them never reached any viable design. Easy Amy however was an attempt to design a 100% Through Hole Mini-ITX Amiga Compatible motherboard. And it works! The design however is super-tight, and 1M CHIP RAM is soldered directly onto the main PCB, making building and more importantly troubleshooting the build quite difficult.

Easy Amy was only produced as a proof-of-concept and was never released to the public. However the design was an important step towards building Denise.

‘Easy Amy’ delivers on her name with a 99% TH design only the on board 1MB CHIP RAM is surface mounted
Routing this 17×17 cm 4-layer board was not an easy task
