Alicia 1200 status update

It seems Alicia 1200 has got some well deserved attention in recent days. We’d love to answer every single email, however this is simply not possible. So here is a short status update with some info and links to answer the most common questions.

When will Alicia 1200 be available?
Alicia 1200 was presented at AMIGA40 in Germany a few weeks ago and boards were available for visitors to buy. This first batch of boards (r1.6) have now been sold out and we’re in the process of placing a larger order that hopefully will be enough for everyone to get a board.

It is difficult to give an estimate when this second batch will be delivered. But we’re hoping to be able to ship boards out around Christmas.

Can I buy a complete and assembled system?
Yes you can!
We are working with very talented builders that will offer a “build service” where you either send in your old computer with working AGA Chipset IC’s – or ask them to procure them for you. We (enterlogic) will not sell complete fully built systems at this time.

If you have any questions on this – please join the Retro Tinkering Discord server and post your inquiry in #alicia-1200-pcb or get in touch with https://shop.flamelily.co.uk/alicia1200

How much will a fully assembled system cost?
This is up to the builder to decide. We currently only sell Alicia 1200 as a kit. And remember you (or the builder) will also have to source a few components that are not produced any more. Depending on what components you already have (AGA Chipset is the most costly) the price of a fully built system may vary.

Will Alicia 1200 (or Denise) be sold outside of the EU?
YES! Thanks to the capable and passionate people in our community we now have partners both in the UK and US that will provide our boards locally. More details will follow.

While you wait check out some of the awesome Youtubers that are doing awesome work building and testing our boards! Our wonderful beta testers have also brought working systems to a lot of events, gatherings and shows recently.
