Programming AVR is super easy! You can even use an Arduino or Raspberry Pi as a programmer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out YouTube for lots of tutorials, and join us on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/discord.com\/channels\/615123075050110987\/1038844674045132800\" target=\"_blank\">Retro Tinkering Discord server<\/a> for assistance and moral support. Details about programming the firmware, fuse bits etc. are available in the firmware archive available in our customer download section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The most important changes in the new (1.2) release are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keyboard type is detected at <strong>\u201cSoft Power On\u201d instead of MainsPower Supply On.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rewritten PS\/2 routines with <strong>improved compatibility<\/strong> with some troublesome USB\/PS2-keyboards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved error handling preventing the MCU from hanging if something goes wrong.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PS\/2 keyboards normally controls typematic rate, this has been worked around and now the MCU emulates an Amiga-keyboard behavior thus letting the Operating System control typematic rate instead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed a bug that affected some games that don\u2019t use OS-functions to read the keyboard to now work properly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"455\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enterlogic.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/firmware1_2_news-455x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enterlogic.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/firmware1_2_news-455x1024.jpeg 455w, https:\/\/www.enterlogic.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/firmware1_2_news-133x300.jpeg 133w, https:\/\/www.enterlogic.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/firmware1_2_news-682x1536.jpeg 682w, https:\/\/www.enterlogic.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/firmware1_2_news.jpeg 760w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 455px) 100vw, 455px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re happy to inform you that a new firmware update is available for Denise.
